This page explains what data tyintegnestue.nocollects, why, and what choices you have. It's written in plain language rather than dense legal text, since this is a small, independently run reference site rather than a company with a data-processing operation.
What we collect
Browsing the site itself doesn't require an account and doesn't collect personal data by default. Two things can generate data:
Analytics (only with your consent).If you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which uses cookies to collect anonymised-where-possible usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. If you click "Decline all", or don't make a choice, GA4 is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we don't ask again.
The contact form.If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are sent to us via Netlify Forms (our hosting provider's built-in form service) so we can reply. We only use this to respond to you.
Third parties
Building photos on this site are hotlinked directly from Wikimedia Commons rather than copied to our own servers, and some building pages embed an OpenStreetMap map. Loading a page with a photo or a map means your browser makes a direct request to Wikimedia's or OpenStreetMap's servers, which — like any web server — will see your IP address as part of that request. We don't control what those services do with it; see the Wikimedia Foundation and OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policies. If analytics consent is given, Google processes GA4 data as described in Google's privacy policy. Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify, who also host this site.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, object to how it's used, or withdraw analytics consent at any time — use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer to change your choice, or the contact form for anything else. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Retention
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Analytics data (if you've consented) is retained under Google's standard GA4 retention settings.
Children
This site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
