Fem små hus

The oldest of the five houses that give this restaurant its name, Hans Hansson's House, dates from 1651, and a pub has operated in its cellar vaults since at least the 1690s — one early landlady, Anna Lindberg, ran it without a licence. Continuously operating from Nygränd 10 since at least 1694, Fem små hus claims the title of Sweden's oldest still-running restaurant, and the third oldest in the world. The nine cellar vaults spanning the five original houses of the Python block still shape the restaurant's layout today.
