Merchant Peter Thuen bought this stretch of the Phoebus block at Skeppsbron in 1674 and built a house here to a design attributed to Nicodemus Tessin the Elder — the same architect credited with the nearby Räntmästarhuset. One of its more notable residents was the scholar-assessor Stiernmarck, who served as Queen Christina's representative. Its facade, in light pink plaster with grey pilasters and horizontal banding, still reflects Tessin's late-17th-century detailing.
