Perched atop Badhusberget, a hill roughly 40 metres above the sea, the water tower designed by K.R. Lindgren and built in 1956 has become an incidental viewpoint as much as a piece of infrastructure. Åland Vatten still owns and operates it, and while the tower itself isn't open to visitors, the hill beneath it is a well-known spot for watching cruise ships enter the Western Harbour.
