Architect

Completed
1977

Consecrated in May 1977 to a design by Carl Corwin, this laminated-wood church clad in brick was built to serve the Bredtvet parish in Oslo's Bjerke borough, with seating for 600 and artistic decoration by Else Hagen. In 2024 the building was sold to Oslo's Catholic diocese and reopened as St. Johannes Apostel and Evangelist kirke — a rare instance in Oslo of a Lutheran parish church changing denomination rather than closing outright.
