Home to Vålerenga football club, Intility Arena took shape slowly — Oslo authorities agreed to transfer the Valle Hovin site in 2008, but construction didn't begin until August 2015, with the stadium finally opening in September 2017. Designed by Lille Frøen AS and Stefan Ekberg Arkitekter, its four stands seat 16,555 spectators to UEFA Category 4 standards, and it's one of relatively few Scandinavian grounds to include 'safe standing' rail-seating sections.
